Reimagining Solution

The Gap and Our Solution

The Systemic Gap

Conventional clinical mental health solutions often lack cultural inclusiveness and multilingualism. Our traditional mental health service delivery models are not always cost-effective or affordable either. Consequently, this circumstance leaves immigrants, vulnerable populations, single-parents, and neurodivergent individuals and their families facing systemic, linguistic, and financial barriers when trying to access care.

Redesigning Education System

Is our current education system truly addressing the comprehensive needs of every child? Are we fostering environments where youth feel safe, empowered to collaborate, and free to unlock their utmost potential naturally, regardless of their background or origin?

We believe in a society that champions diversity and equal opportunity, there remains a critical gap in how we nurture our youth. Education must go beyond the traditional classroom; it must actively build spaces where every child feels seen, supported, and equipped for the future.

CMCF’s education wing was built to answer these questions. Rooted in the Canadian values of community connection and inclusive innovation, we believe in empowering every child with utmost potential and upholding their identity.

In an effort to address that, CMCF-CTS initiatives consist of two pillars: virtual and in-person that raise awareness through talk shows and in-person workshops focusing on holistic childhood development, parenting issues, domestic violence, literacy enhancement, pubertal development of girls and boys, actively engaged children in STEM based projects, art workshops, LEGO building workshops, artistic representation of diverse cultures in YMCA, public libraries across Calgary community since 2022. In this essence, our multi-episode live series (Facebook Livestream) on “AI implementation in Early Childhood Development” examined how families and educators can safely harness emerging technology. By streaming many series on educational contexts and bringing together experts like child psychologists, technology founders, and academic researchers, we lead the question to redesign the education system to the public. CMCF aims to shape practical, evidence-informed guidance that protects children’s emotional health while enhancing their learning. We have received enormous positive global feedback on these initiatives.

We expanded this mission through initiatives like the “Neuro-Creator: AI Enhancing Emotional Intelligence” workshop. The session was directed by Dr. Fahima Mustanzid, Founder and CEO of CMCF and Creative Thinking School Inc. (CTS). This event was designed, coordinated, and co-led by PhD Candidate from Concordia University, Md Sakib Ullah Sourav. Dr. Luke Balcombe, Senior Research Associate at Griffith University, Australia, was invited as a guest speaker to lend his personal academic expertise. In this workshop, we explored the impact of AI in early childhood development and emotional intelligence with children and their parents at Crowfoot Public Library, Calgary (Jan 5th, 2026).

Looking forward, CMCF’s education wing will scale this integrated approach to reflect the multicultural fabric of our communities. We are combining STEM literacy, AI and digital literacy, and neuro-educational programming into structured, replicable curricula for children, youth, and communities across diverse backgrounds.

We envision expanding our educational and community workshop models into broader school and organizational partnerships. Our goal is to equip children with the intrinsic values, creativity, technical, and emotional foundations vital to thrive in a futuristic world, while ensuring every single program remains intergenerational, culturally responsive, welcoming, and fully accessible to racialized immigrant, marginalized, and underserved families.

The CMCF Solution

Reimagining Mental Healthcare Landscape

The success of service delivery in mental health depends on accessibility, cost-effectiveness, and addressing diverse populations, and contextual mental health care of the individual. Many mental health organizations are collaborating and acting on finding solutions. One of the distinguished mental health organizations, eMental Health International Collaborative (eMHIC), brought a number of solutions, ideas, and debates at the “eMHIC Congress 2025 Think Tank”. In that “Think Tank”, approximately 400 mental health experts from across the world gathered to ponder the validity, reliability, accessibility, and evidence-based patient-care solutions. The solution is still questioned: how to achieve optimum, safe, effective, efficient, culturally sensitive patient care.

In light of this, CMCF intends to address and critically analyze how community and individual interventions can be preventive to mitigate early childhood cognitive risks or emotional regulation, prevent cultural homogeneity, and intergenerational trauma in conventional care.

When digital mental health and custom-made navigation tools can be instrumental for rapid access to care, yet many more digital technologies and AI platforms pose various risks, specifically human-AI interactions’ safety and practicality.

Even though there are different schools of thought, at the human level, our experts, policymakers, and service providers – all are devoted to providing human care. Yet does our health policy address the contextual comprehensiveness at the individual and community levels? Does it address health equity and equality?

CMCF aims to bridge systemic disparities across mental health care delivery, community-based support, and public awareness initiatives. Increasing cultural homogeneity, shortage of mental health resources, workers, psychiatrists, physicians, and nurses leave marginalized populations underserved. It aims to address the existent models that lack preventive frameworks, widening socio-economic divides and fracturing community social cohesion.
