Dr Fahima Mustanzid is a highly accomplished physician with training across multiple disciplines. She holds an M.B.B.S. degree and is licensed under the Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (L.M.C.C.). She is currently pursuing her third year as a postgraduate trainee in the Master’s Program for Family Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. Beyond her medical career, Dr Mustanzid also serves as the Chief Executive Director of Creative Thinking School Inc., where she combines her leadership skills with her vision for community development and education. She is passionate about mental health awareness, particularly in the area of children’s mental health and education. Dr Mustanzid actively advocates for improving mental health resources for single parents and emphasises the importance of nurturing strong, healthy relationships between parents and children. Through her professional and community roles, she continues to inspire change, raise awareness, and create meaningful impact in both healthcare and educational sectors.

Dr Fahima Mustanzid is a physician, researcher, and community leader with a strong background in Canadian and global health systems, academic research, and nonprofit leadership. Her professional journey is driven by a deep commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and accessibility within the healthcare system, advocating for mental health, and empowering vulnerable populations through culturally sensitive education and community engagement. As the Founder and CEO of Creative Thinking School Inc., she designs and leads initiatives that foster diversity, inclusion, and environmental awareness among young people through sensory-based learning activities, health-related talk shows, workshops, and cultural events. She also founded Health Lead, a global health advocacy platform that raises awareness and builds leadership capacity during public health crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

In her role as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Mathison Centre, University of Calgary, she has developed strong expertise in ethics review, data management, and sponsor communication for mental health research. Her earlier experience as a Clinical Assistant and Lecturer in Pharmacology further strengthened my skills in patient care, academic instruction, and clinical research.

Throughout her career, she has taken on leadership roles in numerous community initiatives, including serving as a Covid Advisory Board Member for the Bangladesh High Commission in Canada, organising multicultural events, and supporting children with special needs. She is deeply passionate about creating meaningful, lasting change through collaboration, innovation, and advocacy.

In 2025, she was a speaker at the eMHIC Congress in Toronto. eMHIC is an international forum where global leaders, physicians, researchers, and professionals in digital mental health will come together to share innovations and collaborative strategies. Her presentation will focus on how machine learning applications can support parenting by enhancing early intervention, emotional understanding, and behavioural insights for children and families. Michael is the Executive Director of the Southern Alberta Heritage Language Association (SAHLA), a non-profit organization that promotes and teaches international/heritage languages for local students from kindergarten to grade 12, as well as adults. Michael has worked for SAHLA for over 35 years. In addition to his professional work in international languages education, Michael is passionate about multiculturalism, anti-racism, peace education, poverty reduction, and building community and social cohesion in his work and volunteering activities. Michael is a Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Medal recipient.

Michael has served as a volunteer board member with GlobalFest (President), International Avenue Arts and Culture Community, and Vibrant Communities Calgary.

Michael has also served as a volunteer team leader with Results Canada Calgary Chapter and as a youth mentor (matched with indigenous youth) with Big Brothers Big Sisters Calgary.

Sakib is an accomplished researcher and educational leader specializing in the intersection of artificial intelligence, computational intelligence, and cognitive design. Currently pursuing his PhD in Information Systems Engineering at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, he brings a robust interdisciplinary academic background that includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering. Professionally, his pioneering research focuses on re-designing engineering education for Industry 5.0 by embedding generative AI tools into undergraduate curricula. His scholarly contributions are widely recognized, featuring publications with the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) and high-impact journals like Frontiers in Psychology, where he co-developed machine learning-driven clinical decision models.

Driven by a commitment to equitable education, Sourav channels his leadership experience into mentoring and grassroots community building. His capacity for leadership and administrative governance is further highlighted by his role as a Graduate Student Representative at the Graduate Curriculum Committee, Concordia University, and Executive Member of the Bangladesh China Youth Students Association (BCYSA), where he coordinates collaborative cross-border educational initiatives. Within university spaces, he serves actively as a graduate researcher and undergraduate mentor, bridging gaps across international disciplines to champion inclusivity, design creativity, and progressive student development.

M. Anamur Rahman Miea is a distinguished finance and banking professional, community leader, and advocate for meaningful social impact, bringing over 22 years of extensive experience spanning financial services, regulatory compliance, risk management, and organizational leadership. He holds both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), each with a major in Finance.

Throughout his career, Anamur has contributed his expertise to leading financial institutions in Canada and internationally, as well as the Government of Canada. His professional background encompasses comprehensive banking operations, credit adjudication, financial risk management, strategic planning, and client advisory services. This extensive corporate foundation has equipped him with a disciplined, analytical approach to governance, resource management, and organizational development.

Beyond his professional achievements, Anamur is deeply invested in community enrichment, cultural preservation, and social connection. He believes that vibrant, resilient communities are built upon the pillars of inclusion, collaboration, and mutual respect, where individuals and families are empowered to connect, celebrate their diverse heritages, and contribute to a shared purpose.

As a Director of the Creative Mind Community Foundation, Anamur leverages his leadership acumen, strategic perspective, and passion for civic engagement to advance the Foundation’s core mission.
